RIOTU Lab
The Robotics and Internet-of-Things (RIOTU) Lab at Prince Sultan University was established in 2017 as the university's first research lab. As a leading hub for multidisciplinary research, RIOTU Lab focuses on key research areas, including Unmanned Systems, Computer Vision, Internet-of-Things, Natural Language Processing, and Emerging Technologies. With a vision of achieving international recognition, RIOTU Lab fosters applied research through collaborations with industry and academia, aligning its work with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan. The lab is committed to developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges, driving economic and social progress. Its core objectives include creating a professional research environment, securing external funding, providing consultancy services, and offering training programs to upskill the community.
